i’ve seen people bitch about wanting a new webcomic to read since it was announced fred was ending Hate Song, so i figured i’d make a suggestion: Femmegasm (link: http://www.aorange.com/ ), and not since i read Hate Song, have i found a webcomic of such quality. it’s still inferior to hate song, but even so. also, it’s mainly just anime/manga and cartoon-and-video-game’s-from-the-80’s-and-90’s jokes, and it had a piss-poor guestcomic run, but if you look passed that it’s fuckin hilarious. the only bad part about it is that it’s still a fairly new webcomic, it just broke 100 strips a few weeks ago.
it’s still fuckin “science is my bitch” hilarious though.

This is really a comment on “A Hate Song Adventure”, as I suspect comments on strips after this date have been disabled.
Why end it?
Hate Song doesn’t need to be wrapped up. Hate Song needs to stay a sporadic side project, each update a delicious belch of profanity from its authors as they slowly mellow into respectable Establishment-safe artists. Orest and Tim have many adventures yet to be told, don’t cut that off with a quickie finale - at least keep teasing our cocks with “updated sometimes”.

While we are ending Hate Song, it’s going to be a sort of “soft ending”. That’s not to say the final strip is going to be weak, but that I will be leaving things open so that I can come back and revisit.
The plan has always been to come back to it later and do short stories, rather than single strips. The stories would be published once complete, rather than a page at a time.
That said, when and if that will happen remains to be seen. I’ve got a lot on my plate, as does KC. We’re trying to make it happen though.
