OH MAN I CAN’T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS!!!
Jess Fink is being ripped off by Hot Topic! She designed the above shirt that many of you will likely recognize from Threadless. Recently, Hot Topic started selling a blatantly ripped off design. So far, they have not responded to any of Jess’s Cease & Desist requests. Help expose these guys for these shady business practices. It’s tough enough making a go of it as an artist without having big chains ripping your stuff and selling it as their own.
The final kick in the balls is how badly they mangled the joke. It no longer makes sense and has no relevance if you hadn’t seen the original.
Write to Hot Topic and let them know. Repost these images to your website, blog, whatever so that we can get the word out to as many people as possible.
Hot Topic, own up to your mistake. Stop selling the shirt. Any profits/royalties made from this shirt should be paid to Jess as damages.

So, KC’s been around on the strip for a little more than a month now and I gotta say that I’m really stoked on the work he’s been doing. There is no doubt that he was the right dude for the job. Check out that killer satan!
Also, thanks to everyone for the Portland suggestions. A few places that we hadn’t heard of that we’re looking forward to checking out.

Concerning the Hot Topic ripoff-thing,
you should probably add that Hot Topic is “only” (as bad as that is) SELLING the shirt, but according to their own website, it was ‘created’ / ripped off by a company called “New Breed Girl” or “Newbreed Girl”.
You can find their website by googl´ing that, but its under construction and there´s not even a contact adress/e-mail there - or maybe I am just too drunk to find it.

Hot Topic? Didn’t they rip off some Purple Pussy stuff as well? I thought there were copyright laws against that shit?

Regarding the Hot Topic rip off:
I use to work at Hot Topic a few years ago, from what i remember they hold “contests” for the employees to “come up” with new shirt ideas, in return they get gift certificates, pay raises, ect. In putting on this employee shirt idea promo Hot Topic is actually not responsible in the whole ripping off process….
