#215 - Thrill Kill Cat

Friday, July 20th, 2007

Am I losing people here at all? I just realized that picking things up after a 5 month hiatus, without any sort of “PREVIOUSLY IN HATE SONG”, might leave people scratching thier heads.

So, PREVIOUSLY IN HATE SONG:

Tim decides to kill cats to resurrect in order to create more of the cat serum to sell to a big time drug dealer.

Anyhow, there will be an update on Monday, but (barring any miracles), there will not be one next Friday as I’ll be down in San Diego for Comic Con.

If you happen to be at Comic Con, come visit me at table M5 in the Small Press Pavilion (PDF map, courtesy of Diesel Sweeties/Rich Stevens). I’ll be at the New Reliable Press table, chilling with Jamie Dee Galey and selling lots of junk, including the brand spanking new Hate Song mini comic (pictured below). Swing by and say what up, but more importantly - buy some stuff. I’ll be the dude wearing the yellow baseball cap.

I know Tim sure convinced me to hand over both of my cats when the revolution comes.

Also: Since updates are irregular, maybe use the mailing list to let us know when they happen? If you already are, apologies, but I’m on the list and I haven’t gotten anything(which would mean I’d have to check my spam folder or some such, but that would require effort.).

  2. Jack Says:

Purple up there is speaking the truth. I signed up for the mailing list, but didn’t get anything about your return. I only figured out about it after a random visit to the site.

The strips still amazing, and I’m sure you’ve got plenty of loyal fans waiting, you just have to get the word out.

  3. Ron Says:

Shit yeah, I’m glad Hate Song is back. Gotta build up the Arsenal for Cat Massacre and just wait for the fires of hell to sign out the beginning of the Revolution

  4. Greg Says:

You know… if I hadn’t thought “holy fuck, whatever became of Hate Song” I would not have ever come back. I think it’s time to put that mailing list to good use.

  5. Tony Says:

Nice to see we’re back up and running.

It didn’t need a plot summary either. All of the glorious storyline came flooding back as soon as they started talking about killing cats. Keep up the good work, old chap. :-)

    haven’t lost me yet

How many times in my life have I asked myself: “Oh! A cat. Just what I need!”

    the intertubewebnet is fun, huh?
