Now I can’t wait to see what this goth turf war will be like. I think this guy will stomp our stupid car-using goths, likely with large, overly expensive and multi-buckled boots.
a local radio station from where i live plays a game called “NIN or Not”… the djs recite some lines, and you call in to guess whether it’s nine inch nails lyrics or sixteen year old goth livejournal poetry. it’s pretty damn hard to tell the difference!
I think I know how they’ll settle the goth turf war.
A poetry reading.
Whoever can recite the more depressing poetry from memory gets to eat the souls of those who lose.
Personally, I’m hoping a war of the sad kids will be a little more interesting than what would surely be the worst poetry reading ever. Or is that a “reading of the worst poetry ever”?
Nope, methinks that he has contacts, and those are his real eyes, with enormous ammounts of makeup underneath. If you look at some of the other characters, their eyes are not any bigger - whats throwing ppl off is the gothtastic white contacts.
The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool.
They lay. They rotted. They turned
Around occassionally.
Bits of flesh dropped off them from
Time to time.
And sank into the pool’s mire.
They also smelt a great deal.

I heart this arc.
