    THAT ROCKED!

Now I can’t wait to see what this goth turf war will be like. I think this guy will stomp our stupid car-using goths, likely with large, overly expensive and multi-buckled boots.

  2. Karn Says:

I do believe this is an accurate depiction of goth poetry. Well done.

  3. Magnet Says:

Something tells me Scooter will be involved in this guy’s possible death.

  4. Saladin Says:

Tell me something…have you ever had the misfortune to read poetry on Deviantart? Sounds to me like you’ve ripped it off wholesale ;)

  5. Solomon Says:

    HAHAHAH!

So accurate! He’s going to suck the life out of those would-be Goth’s in their ‘automated vehicle’.

    :D

  6. Katie Says:

    oh goth poetry, so silly….

a local radio station from where i live plays a game called “NIN or Not”… the djs recite some lines, and you call in to guess whether it’s nine inch nails lyrics or sixteen year old goth livejournal poetry. it’s pretty damn hard to tell the difference!

  7. Sammi Says:

    I heart this arc.

And I swear I used to know a guy exactly like Midnight. Right down to the ambigious ‘Is he gay?’ mesh shirt.

  8. LOLZ0RZZZ Says:

    yeah, sammi. REAL ambiguous.

  9. Spazz Says:

I think I know how they’ll settle the goth turf war.
    A poetry reading.
Whoever can recite the more depressing poetry from memory gets to eat the souls of those who lose.

  10. Nick Says:

That was fucking beautiful. You need to def-jam that shit.

  11. Jonboy Says:

Ha! Goddamn awesome. Mate of mine actually saw the last strip and said ‘Woo a goth. Whats he going to do? Read mopey poetry at them?’

  12. GoodFeathers Says:

Personally, I’m hoping a war of the sad kids will be a little more interesting than what would surely be the worst poetry reading ever. Or is that a “reading of the worst poetry ever”?

  13. Ravey kun Says:

    ….wrist cutting contest

    And remember.

    In Sovjet Union,Emo’s Cut YOU.

  14. Brendan Says:

i’m even more confused by the fact that Midnight’s eye-dots turn into eye-lines in panel #2 here.

Aren’t they supposed to be painted onto his eyelids?

    ???

  15. Sammi Says:

Nope, methinks that he has contacts, and those are his real eyes, with enormous ammounts of makeup underneath. If you look at some of the other characters, their eyes are not any bigger - whats throwing ppl off is the gothtastic white contacts.

    http://www.argoth.co.uk/acatalog/fezuvwhiteblock.jpg

because the html failed at life.

  18. Hobbes Says:

i cant find exact ones of what im looking for gah. damn gothic eye websites…

  19. moderndaypaine Says:

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool.
They lay. They rotted. They turned
    Around occassionally.
Bits of flesh dropped off them from
    Time to time.
And sank into the pool’s mire.
They also smelt a great deal.

  20. PoisonGirl Says:

They can join my Goth Off. Halloween at midnight, jerks!

  21. Lifeform26 Says:

Groan… that was kinda painful to read. Which proves it’s goth poetry.
